I have been given a diesel engine sound board because one of the transistors is missing.
The board has TRAX DESS-12-24 printed on one side.
The transistor on the top left is a 7818 regulator but the transistor on the top right is missing, it has 5 legs so I assume it is an audio amplifier chip but before I just put one in and try it I was hoping someone could tell me which one it is.
Thanks,
Bob.
does anyone recognise this sound board?

Re: does anyone recognise this sound board?
HI from what you say and checking my own sound card ( trax dess 12 24 ) it seems you are missing the TDA2003 10 w audio amp transistor. They are easily available on eBay or any decent supplier such as rs spares, it is the unit used in many car radios regards greatorme.
