I hereby re-awake this thread with Rails not paying one bit of attention to what has been re-tooled.....

Ooh, got to act quickly to shift it before most realise there is something much superior on sale. Then again the doors open on the old one, so think of it as only £6.21 per opening door feature?

They are so sharp, one day they will cut themselves.

Rails again but it isn't the price or the item itself...

....the description mentions that this item has been test run....how the hell do you test run a signal box?????

Trust us….we are Model Railways retailers!

Some private sellers are better informed, and have more informative listings!

Just shows that there's more to setting out a proforma template than bashing a few keys and saving a clean copy!

Everyone's favourite youtuber has stuck the subjects of one of his timed "scrap or save" episodes on the 'bay. The one picture doesn't show the massive melted solder mark down one side of the loco or indeed in the description  If you want a wrecked lima diesel for 40 pounds (currently) then the auction finishes today :D

Collector's item: 'Samangled', unique, as seen on Utoob.

Ironically, I bought the same Lima Belgian loco from the Fundraising shop carriage at the East Lancs Railway for a tenner - body heat distorted but after a clean up it runs OK...

yeah its obviously aimed at milking his subscribers rather than the wider ebay clientele as it has hardly any description and doesn't even mention its Lima or HO for that matter. Still, looking at the completed listings you could buy one with the missing pantograpth and without the 10cm solder burn for 24 quid. Should help pay for another loco to unbox 8)

Clearly that is a few people on the wind up who have run the price up with no intention of paying.
