Preiser box

Post by SOOTYBRUM »

Anyone know how to open a Preiser plastic box without having to use a hammer and screwdriver? Bought a small box containing 2 elephants but can't see how to open it? :?: :?:

You have picked the right weather to ask this question. Flex the pack in bright sunlight for any clues to construction. (The Germans do like slide in covers on plastic boxes.)

Then again, it may be a sealed construction, easy to achieve with ultrasonic welding. Sometimes it is necessary to break the egg...

Very likely to be a slide in, rub down a piece of masking tape on top and bottom surfaces then try forcing them in each direction to slide. In the strong light look to see if one of the edges as a fine line running through it. You could try squeezing the two ling edges towards each other hopping that something goes pop.
