Afternoon all -

If there are no models available, making one from (say) a coal yard office building may be an alternative (and a little different).

There is a used one on ebay, bidding starting at £9.99. Boxed and supposedly in good condition so might be worth a look.

Have you found it yet? Just enter 'Bachmann 44-0071' in the search box and it is at the top of the list of items, the only one in fact. There is one bid on it . . . which may be you!

Good for £10 but not £25. This must be quite a sought-after item. Even if I was after one I would not have paid that much for a used one. If you are determined to find a new one your best option is probably to trawl through some more small local model shops who are more likely to have NOS items on their shelves which have not been snapped up by online searchers. The box shifters major on new releases and online sales so they are unlikely to have what you are looking for.

Thanks, trust me I have called around 100 little model shops - no one has one sadly...

One good thing has come about though, I found a brand new Lyme Regis train pack, plus the 2 extra loose ex-LSWR crimson coaches, all for under £140, free P+P from a little shop in N.Wales.
