Hello,
I discovered by browsing some other forums, these Japanese curiosity: the "B Train Shorty" in N scale (Japanese N scale is 1:150). These videos will explain much better than me what are exactly these little Japanese trains:

The lack of room to play with little trains is not an excuse:

So I decided to build my own B train shorty...
Bandai B Train Shorty
Re: Bandai B Train Shorty
I ordered this from Plaza Japan:
Bandai B-Train Shorty Tokyu Railway Series 5080 Meguro Line 2 Cars Set (N scale) and I built it as you can see on the pics bellow. I need four Kato 11-099 bogies to put that funny train on the track. When I'll be a little bit rich, I'll buy a Kato 11-105 motorised chassis

I know that I only have the half of this train. So I must order the rest asap. For the record I built the diesel version.

Re: Bandai B Train Shorty
The first video had some fine modelling there. Are you going to build a tiny layout too?

I found this mini layout (1' x 1') in my so well-stored garage. For now, it will do the trick.

First run of my Bandai B-train shorty. Because I don't have a Kato 11-105 motorised chassis, I use an old 11-103. It runs very well: BANDAI B TRAIN SHORTY
