An elderly railway modelling friend had two 'N' gauge GraFar wagons specially printed with fictitious liveries that incorporated his family name. This was arranged, many years ago, by a model shop in either Abergavenny or Brecon. He can't quite remember exactly where and I believe the shop has closed since anyway.
Is there anywhere that carries out such one-off contracts? I'd rather like to have an array of very scruffy ex-Hornby-Dublo furniture containers re-papered with "Fellinghams Removals - Brighton" (old family connection) though I guess such commissions don't come cheap.

It is possible to print your own transfers by using inkjet decal paper.

Thanks, I am considering that as a last resort but I'm not sure I'm up to the graphics required. I can cope with generating various fonts and typefaces but when it comes to two-colour shadowed lettering and printing on a curve I'm well out of my depth.

Robbies Wagons
They are based in Abergavenny.
They have a website.
Don't know if they do 'one offs' though.
It's Robbie's Rolling Stock actually.

Brilliant! I'll get in touch with Robbie to see what's available. His published list looks interesting and the prices are certainly OK. Many thanks for the lead.
