A question on L brackets

I need some L brackets shorter one side than the other. 3x1 inches roughly.
Are these just called L brackets as well or do they have a specific name?

Corner brackets, just "brackets", right angle brackets, I don't think anyone has laid down definitions for any particular type. Borrowing from plumbing terminology the ones you want would be unequal right angle brackets, but simply calling them 3" x 1" brackets is probably all you need. One of the advantages of serve your self DIY sheds is you can look for what you need without starting your own episode of "four candles".

A search on ‘unequal angle brackets’ brought up many hits and the closest I could see were aluminium greenhouse brackets, which commonly attach accessories to the greenhouse profiles...

After some measuring and looking again I found 38mm Corner Brace's (rather than named L brackets) on Homebase's site so went and took a look at them in the flesh.

They didnt bend when I squeezed them like some thinner L brackets do so bought them.
They are the same length both ways but as they are only 38mm they will fit in the gaps I need them too.

Half my layout is held together / up with those. The dimple inside the bend on the Homebase ones seems to make all the difference.
