Avoid this eBay trader!!!!

Postby Tiddles » Wed Jun 19, 2019 7:34 pm

eBay seller rocketrailways .

I purchased 3 peaces of LIMA O gauge track that never arrived.
Thieving *word censored* sent eBay fake tracking information and told them he had proof I had received the track so eBay closed the dispute in his favour.
He then refused to communicate with me.
After a month of emails and long phone calls with eBay I finally got my refund.

I should have learnt from my first dealing with him. I purchased one peace of LIMA O gauge track and what I got was a mangled bit of PECO track wrapped in a plastic bag. I sent that back and he took over a week to refund me. Saying he had not received it. I then sent proof of purchase.

AVOID rocketrailways.

He has done this trick before.

Hi Tiddles, Thanks for the heads up, have you tried to get him black listed via E Bay, surely if he has done it to you he would have done it before and they will have a record.
Only a thought.

Pretty hard to get someone black listed when their record is 1377 sales with 99.4% feedback, I have dealt with eBay sellers with feedback as low as 97,3% and had perfect transactions.

Thanks for the heads up Tiddles.......I have added him to my do not use list and worryingly the list is getting longer. You have to be more careful these days who you buy from as there seems to be more dodgy sellers than they used to be these days. What worries me is the fact that eBay seem to just let them get away with it. E bay seem to only care about making their bit of profit. So I blame eBay just as much as the bad sellers who get away with it.
It worked last time I used it..............John
