One of my recently arrived 30XX ROD from the famous sale had the dreaded broken off tender drawbar pin. When packaged in the factory on some models the assembly worker fits the loco to the ice pack with the drawbar pin inserted in the drawbar. Movement intransit results in the relatively fragile pin breaking off. All my Lord Nelson class (four off samples Sir John Hawkins) suffered this as have several other models. The repair is very simple but totally avoidable if the assembly worker fitted the loco to the ice pack with separation between the loco and tender.
