Post by triuph1050 »

Hi people
Anyone know How to adjust the sound volume on my factory fitted class 68, layouts in a shed and she's louder than my other locos, can't find any info about what CV to adjust or if its under function number like my Bachmanns
Cheers

Hi

It will depend on the make of decoder fitted, if it's a Zimo the master volume CV is 266, if it's an ESU it's CV 63

It'll be ESU or Zimo (most probably the former), not Dapol's Imperium, which is a non-sound decoder. As Paul said, CV63 for ESU, CV266 for Zimo.

If the suggested CV's aren't effective, then probably best to contact Dapol either directly or via the retailer. A decoder fitted loco should come with either the decoder manual or an address for a download.
