Hello and welcome Johny69.
If 8x4 is "a small one" you must have a nice big room to play with!

Hi. I have connections with Leicester due to one side of the family trees.
Welcome. Problem with DCC is you may find kiddies will be telling you how it works...
My mum was trying to help my little niece who was six at the time play an internet game to help her learn. My mum saw a treasure chest so labeled it "Chest" only to get her grand daughter banned from the site! It was hilarious as my niece looked at her and said "Granny!"

If you have room "all around" you can get away with designs problematic if a long edge or more has to be against a a wall.
