I'll have a go Geoff. I foresee a slight difficulty in persuading people to resize their images, as the attachment process allows dragging and dropping an image into the editor, with automatic resizing when viewed, now try explaining the need for resizing to someone who's just discovered that.

The wagon arrived safely today. I'll get something sorted over the next couple of days and move it on by next weekend again. 8)

Count me in Geoff. Count me in please. I would love the van to visit 'Sovereign Street'.

First to carnehan,

Sorry for the language, better just to think of the number code so
no profanity is verbalized. I thought it was clever ..... but then I'm
mad as well as angry.

Glancairn

On the list now standing at 10.

Geoff, your profanities gave me a laugh and an insight in to the workings of that mind although not a letter to be reading to my 3 year old.

Incidentally, I was at work when the parcel arrived. My son is forever saying he doesn't get any parcels so mummy let him open it. His response on seeing the wagon was 'Daddy will love it!'

carnehan,
'Daddy will love it' ...... are you certain he didn't read it ?

RailwayRobbo,
The running order is as shown in Dave's posting towards the bottom of page 1.
I shall be keeping an eye on it, usually most are sending onwards after a week
to 10 days. Apart from Bufferstop loosing 'Norma' permanently and an erk in
New Zealand who tried to kidnap a wagon.

So about 5 weeks for me to get the layout presentable! :D
I can't wait to read the "instructions" :D
I will also have to dig out a suitable van fleet to run with it!

Hi everyone,

I'm excited that the tour is underway. Can't wait for the van's visit to Midville Junction.

Are you posting progress, pictures etc on this thread from now on? Or will there be another to look out for?

Thanks
Dan

My intention was to build up the 'Tour' photographs in this thread.
Takes less room in the listings ..... working with Win 3.1.1 you
HAD to minimize as much as possible !! It becomes a habit.

Hmmm, sounds like this could be fun, I shalln't add my name to the list just yet, but if I have success planting some bushes this week, i'll jump in to the fray. Could do with something to distract me after the phone call I've had regarding my most recent MRI.

Hi Nickbrad, I wouldn't worry too much about scenery as can be scene from the first visit below.

Guy arrived at Galgorm Hall on Wednesday afternoon with a large delivery of explosive charges requested by the navvies to get the new lines pushed through. With absolutely no fanfare and indeed not a navvie in sight, the short train was connected to a Class 25 for its short haul along the barren lands of Galgorm Hall.

Pulling out of what will be the main station, the train crossed the only piece of completed infrastructure - a bridge...

IMG_4023.JPG

...before running along the unfinished embankments.

Alas, that is as much as there is to see scenic wise on Galgorm Hall. Perhaps on the next tour there will be more.

If I get a chance, I will give a little touch of weathering to Guy tomorrow before safely stowing him away for his onward journey to the southwest coast of England where a plethora of layouts could await.
