Hi manna,

The actual meaning will be with the wagon.

carnehan, All packed ready for posting tomorrow. I didn't get
around to weathering the chassis & lower van body as to me
getting this moving was the priority. In fact we've done quite
well considering the project was only suggested on the 5th
of this month and the vans been painted & decalled.

Well done Geoff and everyone else who has got this underway so quickly. I take it as, this being a thread for posterity, we should upload these to NRM as attachments, even if we have our own functioning hosting site.

Looking forward to receiving it. Perhaps I'll get time to give it a light weathering when it arrives.

Ahh Bufferstop,

While I'm at it so to speak, I noticed a thread at the start of one section telling New members
how to post photographs. Any chance you can delete all reference to PB and explain size limits
and how to get into the NRM system.

I'm off to continue sorting out my threads 500 pictures replaced but well over a thousand, perhaps
up to two thousand still to do. Just think of the time span and size of Castell Mawr !

Paul, feel free to enhance. I suppose I should change that title to the 2017 '00' Tour.

I'll have a go Geoff. I foresee a slight difficulty in persuading people to resize their images, as the attachment process allows dragging and dropping an image into the editor, with automatic resizing when viewed, now try explaining the need for resizing to someone who's just discovered that.

The wagon arrived safely today. I'll get something sorted over the next couple of days and move it on by next weekend again. 8)

Count me in Geoff. Count me in please. I would love the van to visit 'Sovereign Street'.

First to carnehan,

Sorry for the language, better just to think of the number code so
no profanity is verbalized. I thought it was clever ..... but then I'm
mad as well as angry.

Glancairn

On the list now standing at 10.

Geoff, your profanities gave me a laugh and an insight in to the workings of that mind although not a letter to be reading to my 3 year old.

Incidentally, I was at work when the parcel arrived. My son is forever saying he doesn't get any parcels so mummy let him open it. His response on seeing the wagon was 'Daddy will love it!'

carnehan,
'Daddy will love it' ...... are you certain he didn't read it ?

RailwayRobbo,
The running order is as shown in Dave's posting towards the bottom of page 1.
I shall be keeping an eye on it, usually most are sending onwards after a week
to 10 days. Apart from Bufferstop loosing 'Norma' permanently and an erk in
New Zealand who tried to kidnap a wagon.

So about 5 weeks for me to get the layout presentable! :D
I can't wait to read the "instructions" :D
I will also have to dig out a suitable van fleet to run with it!

Hi everyone,

I'm excited that the tour is underway. Can't wait for the van's visit to Midville Junction.

Are you posting progress, pictures etc on this thread from now on? Or will there be another to look out for?

Thanks
Dan

Thanks for that Geoff.
