How to store and link to images stored on flickr
the first thing you will need to do is open a flickr account.

Difficulties setting up a flicker account
I just wanted to share some information on setting up a flicker account, they do seem to be a tad troublesome for some reason. With mine that I set up years ago, using a BT email originally, they forced me to change it to a yahoo address a year or so ago which was a right pain but this is how I manage it:
Set up
I have set up a new yahoo account, I then used this to sign up for flicker. This is the only service I use this account for and have to note down the logins because I never remember them! its a good job Chrome does for me!
anyway once it's all set up go to the settings -> email & notifications
you can then add additional email addresses here for notifications as well as set a 'primary' email address - once you have done this you will get all of the usual email alerts to your normal email account.
it's just a case of remembering your new yahoo login when signing into flicker.
note: you can also set your screen name via settings ->personal information
This is then used by others to find you via flicker, i have set mine to alex3410 to match forum usernames - eg https://www.flickr.com/photos/alex3410/

Re: Posting and Linking Images using Flickr
Hi Alex, just for the fun of it, I have opened a flickr account. When I try to share a pic (whether private or public) the options share or email come up.
In share, facebook, twitter, etc are there and the https://www.flickr.com/photos/156877527 ... res/6BCMxP text, but there is no option for BBCode?
It is not a pro account, so is that the reason?

i dont think its to do with pro accounts, when i click on your link above (not signed into flicker) the share option is there under the photo and i get the BB code option

Thanks Alex
I was trying to do it from photostream, but it has to be done when viewing just the one photo
