After a very unimpressive experience with a wonky module from another supplier, I gave http://www.modellingelectronics.co.uk a go. Unfortunately, I hit a problem with the two inexpensive modules I got from them. Fortunately, they were able to sort me out and everything is now sweetness and light (well, at least it is with my electrics!).

Coming from a business which depended far more than most on its customer service, I find most firms nowadays sadly lacking on that front. However, this lot's exceptional. They quite happily went far more than the extra mile to make sure that I was sorted out, even though the problem I experienced was actually down to me, and I am seriously impressed.
