Thanks Alex.
Still a few bits and pieces to do, then a 'Railtour Special' can make the journey across.

I am toying on what name to give it.

Re: Bridging the Gap - Competition entry.
Thought you may wish to see this, Glencairn...

The line is in the South of the Czech Republic at a place called Tabor and the branch (heavily graded and sharp curves) goes to the town of Bechyne. It is unusual in that it is the last remaining section of the CD run using 1500vDC and is therefore "cut off" from the main network. The locos are the last of the class. It also has a heritage EMU and coaches. It was built using steam traction but was rapidly converted into one of the earliest electric lines in that part of the world...
It's still going and well worth a visit!
I hope the photos of the bridge may help you!

On the theme from b308 -- buses on the viaduct -- from the front - Samuel Ledgard (Leeds), Wallace Arnold (Leeds), Kings Ferry (Gillingham), Samuel Ledgard (Leeds) and Yorkshire Woollen District (Dewsbury).
Then there is my love of road transport. Two W.A. Glendinning wagons of Shotley Bridge, Consett. I knew one of the drivers, John Thompson. Many a story he told. I am out looking for an Archbolds (Storage and Distribution) of Gildersome vehicle.

It was more to show you "how it's done", there are plenty of other examples across the World but that is one I've actually seen... Inset track would make for a nice challenge, G!!

The challenge then would be if a road was also on the bridge vehicles would run smack into , at one end, Sovereign Street Goods Yard and Station and at the other end, Falkland Station building.
Methinks I shall leave it as rail bridge.

Re: Bridging the Gap - Competition entry.
Maybe a rusty, grass riddled, old abandoned track, or just the sleepers or just ballast with the imprint of sleepers......
Re: Bridging the Gap - Competition entry.
How did I miss so much of this project? I like those walls and parapets you've constructed - really sets it off. Have you anything more you'd like to add prior to project conclusion?

Hi Paul. Thanks for your comments.
In all intents and purposes the bridge is finished. I am making sure all is dry then I can 'knock the newness' off it. I shall do that this week (hopefully).
