Whilst entertaining with afternoon tea the other day, I heard the following --

Lady G. "What do you think of the serviettes?"

Another lady. "I haven't met any Russians, but what I have heard, they seem okay".

Recipe for workshop tea - the proportions are determined empirically by the angle of the spoon in the liquid. When truly vertical (by using a spirit level) the liquid is at the correct strength.
