Loch Vàth, my 00 gauge Layout.

Postby Moduleho » Sat Apr 04, 2015 6:46 pm

Hello,

I am French. I apologize for the errors in English. I hope that you will understand. I like enormously your country and particularly your trains! :D

I practise the railroad model making for a very long time. In the summer 2013, I stayed the Scotland there during two weeks. I took Jacobit Steam Train de Fort William to Malaig and, also i have visited rannoch station.

In my return, I decided to realize a layout in 00 gauge, located in an imaginary place situated in the Scotland: loch Vàth.

For the moment, I do not manage to download of photo... I go tried to understand why.

That is really very attractive - and the video is superb. Excellent - AND details like the crumbling stone wall help make it.

Welcome!

Looks great, I particularly like the grass. The whole overall effect looks very realistic. It would be great if you could post some wider shots.

I saw the word "loch" and knew I would like this. I lived in Scotland and your Scottish layout looks more like Scotland than mine! Very nice work. Have you got a photo of the whole thing?

Passing by the trains completely for a moment, a serious Talisman fan, I see.
Now there's a classic from the past! I was playing that thirty years ago.
(Good grief, I was playing that thirty years ago?)

Very nice atmospheric detailing of the layout: congratulations!

Yes i play Talisman since the end of 80' like other games (Dungeons & Dragons, Dungeon Quest, Space-Hulk, etc). Role playing and board games are my other hobby ! :D
I collect and painting citadel miniatures also.

Thank you very much for your comment.

For the layout, the action is situated over the period 1967 in 1995, with a majority of materials : locomotives, wagons and cars of the 1970s and 1980s. The main part of my fleet (driving park ?) consists of diesel locomotive. I also have some steam engines.

Another part of the layout, the locomotive depot.

"I wish you a good Easter Monday !"

And to you!

I know I've said this before, but the more photos I see the more I really like this. Just such delightful small, individual, scenes. And the weathering is first class.

Thanks.

the weathering of class 40169 and 37254 is mine. The other model (class 08) is weathered by TMC.
