C&G Darlington

Post by hiffano »

so then, being in Darlo yesterday for the first time eer, i was left bemused at my training course finishing 2 hours early, meaning i had a two and a half hour wait for the train. I googled and found that C&G models was on the way to the station... only it wasn't, it was a tatty cafe.
havingordered from a them a few times many moons back, have they gone the way of the dodo, and indeed the majority of independant stores?
as it was i sat in Darlo station watchind into darkness on the tablet instead...

George, the owner, died some years ago and the store shut quickly thereafter. It was reopened by a former employee as North Eastern Models but he had to give the business up. Obviously a very old (cob)web page you stumbled across.
