Extreme Trains
"Extreme Trains" Just been watching this on H2 (sky531). Based in the USA but worth a watch if you're at a loose end. It's currently about a 15000 ton coal train that's a mile long. There are a few more episodes being shown in a row.

Re: Extreme Trains
Hmmmmmmm,
I've just done a Google search for "Extreme Trains" which shows quite a number of instalements have been made.
More importantly, I've also had a look through the current and near future VirginMedia listings for 'Extreme Trains' and can't see any forthcoming broadcasts of this series on Channel 236/ H2, nor on any of their other channels.
This can't be the correct result! What am I doing wrong?

Re: Extreme Trains
I have watched several of the programmes in this series, the photography and content is quite good, but the rather typical American overenthusiastic exhuberence of presenter Matt Bown becomes waring after a while.

Impressive but this one more so, I'm sure if you follow the tracks you'll find a train to measure. I did plug this a little while back.
.Wikipedia wrote:These 41,400 tonnes total mass, 3780 metres long trains (8 locomotives and 342 wagons), are the longest production trains in the world. More than 3,000 of these RDP trains have been operated since launched in December 2007
Re: Extreme Trains
