Osbourns Models

Post by ollieollieollie »

Found Osbourns Models, Bideford, Devon online on friday afternoon. Had some ballast I wanted at a good price so ordered it about 14.40. By 15.15 I had a despatch e-mail & it was with me on saturday. Good service & no silly postage prices either!

Worth a mention.

They were great when based in Abingdon, a damn shame they moved. My regular haunts now are Trindees (Banbury) and Cheltenham Model Centre.

I think strictly the spelling is Osborns.

Used them a couple of times. No real complaints, but they are not very good at making clear whether items are or are not in stock when you order... and then you wait. When maybe someone else has it on the shelf today.

I've been waiting a couple of weeks now for something, with no explanation or apology for the delay.

Bought a wheel cleaner from them on Friday. Turned up Saturday. Can't complain. Again, good service. Not sure the wheel cleaner is much cop though....
