What a waste of time. No catalogue, poor service from the Exhibitors, total disinterest. Bachmann want to sell ? This is not the way, Peco not there went home yesterday ????

Please remember that it is primarily a TRADE SHOW . It is only as a favour you are allowed in . The catalogues cost £6.50 so to give a large number away would cost a lot and it would be reflected in the cost of the models.

So if I am a member of Collectors Club why not give me my catalogue and save posting it?

Martin should have gone yesterday could have had all day with a tripod for photos Place deserted.

The whole idea of the show is that it is a TRADE show for retailers to see some of the new products and place orders. The Collectors have not got a god given right to go and should be thankful for a FREE chance to go. As for the catalogues it would a logistical nightmare to givwe them to the people who attended as records would have to be checked and cross checked to prevent people receiving two copies FREE. Please bear this in mind before griping

Oh soooo sorry for posting my opinion, you are right of course I have no god given right to be allowed to see what the trade are allowed to see but without the buying public ( me included) there would be no-one to sell to would there?

Letting the Collectors Club members in is actually pushing the bounds of who is and isn't allowed into a trade fair. There are usually strict controls on what can be sold at these events. I've visited various ones over the years and this one sounds about par for the course. You won't change them! If you didn't think this one was worth the effort/time, don't go next time.

I did go as a Collector's Club member and as I said I was dissapointed, if I'd have travelled far as a Trader then I would have been really dissapointed as there was not a lot to see.
