hi kenny, great photo,s . regarding the loco :wimblebury: , i knew a loco of this name in the 40s. it was running between hednesford station sidings and cannock wood colliery or the valley pit. on occasions it was seen running from cannock wood to the canal basin nr,cannock. via wimblebury . can this be that same loco? other loco,s running the same lines where named, cannock wood, anglsey, marquis, boudesert and progress.
as well as pulling coal wagons they also pulled three old three axle coaches called :the paddy: carrying miners to the pits. these coaches ran on the london to norwich line well before the 40s and are now at the chase water railway sheds to be refurbished. best regards, pete.

Bellerphron was a "hero" of greek mythology, who was a guy who rode on a flying horse. perhaps they were both named after him.

nice photo's by the way ;)

thanks stew :)

while walking the dog earlier i decided to take my camera with me, i went via llanidloes's old station which is now offices blocks (no big suprise) and i decided to get some photos in the dark, my flash was the only source of light but it made the station feel spooky in the photos. unfortuantly i wont be giving out a prize to who ever spots a ghost (if there is one)
