Hi,
Does anyone have any idea if a Dapol class 66 loco(N gauge) is okay with R1 setrack curves. Thanks

Yes and no!Metroman wrote:Hi,

I had a Dapol class 66 that would go round them but made a right racket when it did
The loco was noisy as it was but going round R1 curves it was a lot worse.
Re: Minimum Radius Curves
And I have had the opposite. Dapol 66s tend to have that underlying growl though so maybe I just can't tell the difference!smallman28 wrote:Yes and no!Metroman wrote:Hi,

Re: Minimum Radius Curves
I am just about to test the Dapol 156 dmu on an R1 curve. Found out that the minimum for the 156 is R2, and the 66.

Re: Minimum Radius Curves
when my dapol 66 works, it has absolutely no trouble getting around R1 setrack curves. its just getting it to move that seems to be the problem!!
Re: Minimum Radius Curves
What is the problem with your 66?
