Great to see trains a-movin' in the attic! And also, am I right in thinking that I can claim credit for the name 'Strogaloft'?

Just been taking a couple of pictures in the loft, so thought I would share...
Been a bit depressed lately, (non railway-related for a change)... So today with the mrs in work and nothing to do I figured theres no better cure for the blues than a new locomotive! So off I toddled to the model shop.
I came away with a Bachmann Warship Class 42. I really love the design of this class, and think it looks great in all its livery variations, the only one in the shop was in BR Green, and was ready-weathered by their in-house weathering service/person... Gotta say on getting it home the weathering was a little disapointing. I'm far from professional at it, but its not far off what I'm achieving with my airbrush at the moment. Judge for yourselves in the pictures.
Its a very heavy loco, which makes for smooth running... but when it comes to descending gradients, it goes into hyper-drive!! My points are unfortunately placed at the bottom of the gradients, so its definately not a matter of sitting back and watching this loco go... you have to keep a close eye on it !!!
