First, this is the tunnel at the right-hand end of the layout:

The tunnel mouth is Skaledale re-painted so it's the same colour as other stonework on the layout. The inside's lined with Metcalfe card and the hill is constructed of polystyrene, covered with modrock then grassed with hanging basket liner. The two trees are Skale Scenics, and are surprisingly good.
This is a smaller hill behind the goods yard:

It's built the same way as the bigger one. The glue's still wet on the hoist, which is why it's being held up by the paint pot!
I've also finished the layout's last major structure, Ratio's model of Highley signal box:



The railing's a little wonky, but apart from that I'm happy with it.

The next job is a couple of signals and planting some sheep on the hill.
