No updates on the board over the last couple of days as I've been back at work and it's far too cold in the evenings to walk down the garden to the garage!!
I have however managed to make a start on our Faller Wild Mouse so here's a quick pic of the progress so far.
Now I've just got to work out where on the layout it's going!!! I'm also trying to find a good source of flexible/semi-flexible track if anyone has any ideas?

Most of the baseboards tops are now fixed down (no pic, sorry!) and I've decided to simplify the plan slightly removing the raised section and inclines.
I think this gives a good station area, a raised section above the top right corner will house the fun fair including the Wild Mouse. There is a small TMD just below the station and some stabling sidings above it. The top and left boards will be themed as the town.
The curves on the bottom section will be the country section with the curves much more sweeping than shown here using flexitrack rather than setrack. The sidings at the bottom will be for some kind of freight.
