I do not know if this has been mentioned previously, but anyway, we have just purchased a new fridge freezer. In it is the ubiquitous egg tray.

As we have never used one I thought it would make a great painting tray. Just add the tops of supermarket milk bottles to put the paint in. When finished just discard in the rubbish bin. I just need the bottle tops. Egg tray painting box

Who keeps eggs in the fridge. Ours go in the back of a large china chicken.

Unfortunately in my case it would make an excellent catapult as I clumsily caught my wrist upon the upturned end

Re: Egg tray painting box
I use an egg holder from a fridge but mine is where the 6 eggs sit in a one peice molded plastic tray with indented cups so no need for the extra bottles tops. Easy to keep clean too. Brilliant!
Thanks

I also keep mine in the fridge, but rather than use the egg tray provided, I have cut one of the clear plastic containers that they come in down to 6 and with an uncut container, I can get 16 eggs in the door compartment. The original tray lies obsolete in a kitchen drawer but maybe not any more.
