Points control with server motors & I2C

Hi everybody,
I'm using servers to control the points on my N scale layout and the servo driver board is hooked up to an Arduino via I2c. I've read that the connection should be no more than two meters long, does anybody know if this means between the Arduino and driver board or between the driver board and the motors?

Hi
I cant help with the IC2 length but servo leads should be kept as short as possible.

Like Flashbang I can't help with IC2 length, but I can tell you that servo leads can be quite long if necessary. I use servos in my RC model aircraft, as well as for my points, and in my aircraft the leads can be maybe 4ft long. When extending them beyond the supplied servo lead length I use heavier-duty servo wire to make sure that the voltage drop is minimised.
