PCU2 unit

Postby Brian2 » Fri Sep 13, 2019 9:33 am

I am using a Gaugemaster 100MO,PCU2 GM CDU and PL11 point motors. there doesn't seem to be anywhere for the green wire to go. Gaugemaster don't have a wiring diagram for this set up and their explanation over the phone has only confused. I have scoured Brian Lamberts site but everything seems to point to having to use a PCU1 and then the PCU2 as a slave.....problem, Gaugemaster still make the 2 but the 1 is discontinued.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would make an educated guess that the green (common) wire needs to connect to one of the CDU output terminals or the input side of the PCU where the CDU connects.

Thanks both.

Yes it's me being stupid. I looked at the diagram and it showed leads coming from the back and the front., whereas mine has three from the front. But yes the green goes back to the CDU.

This is a diagram marked up by Greg at Gaugemaster ( my son called in, he lives near bye) the point motors looked completely different to mine.
