Wiring a single slip (N gauge)

Postby Severa » Mon Mar 12, 2018 7:33 pm

Please may I have some brief advice on wiring a single slip, using a Cobalt IP Analoog motorr? I have managed to wire up the single slip (and added LEDs) all of which work perfectly. However, I am not sure whether I need to add track feed power to the slip itself (Peco 55) or whether track feed power added to each of the adjacent rails will suffice. If I should add the power to the single slip, itself is there an optimum place? There seems very little room to attach the track feed wires on the slip - soldering not being my strong point!

Solder dropper wires from the fishplates at either end and switch them if your worried about electrical continuity.
