Finding Buffers

Have any questions or tips and advice on how to build those bits that don't come ready made.

Finding Buffers

I am looking for buffers with a head in this shape sort of.

I have been unable to find any on Bachmann, Hornby spares and on mainly trains and so would appreciate a point in the right direction.

Sorry for not mentioning, they are for an electric loco(I would like to keep the locos identity a mystery for now if thats ok, though I will post an explanation at a later date).

Then it will be quite difficult to find it if we don't know what they are going on.

cut down the top and bottoms of the correct sized round buffers and file to shape ! that is pretty much what they did with the real ones

Large Oleos filed down top and bottom. It's probably what the originals were.
