I cannot seem to print page 2 of the white goods set. Page 1 and 3 print fine but page 2 freezes and crashes adobe making me hard shut it by using the task manager.

I have a few kits where Adobe seems to fail during the printing, I've never been able to cure this problem but I have narrowed the issue down to how Adobe flattens the image whilst it prepares it for printing.

I use FoxIT reader now & have never had a problem yet. Not sure if you've reosolved the issue as I noticed you posted this a few days back, if you are still having issue give FoxIT reader a whirl.

Now back to some good news, I've just printed off all the papers required for my New Wordsworth Grand Station, the design still remains basically unchanged from the one I was working on, but with a few added extras I feel enhances the building.

I'm just glueing all the sheets to the appropraite card stock & the build can commence, I will try & get some pictures uploaded this evening showing how far I've get.

Then Monday it's a day out for me my wife & Monty our Springer Spaniel, Tuesday I start some tiling work in the kitchen, Wednesday will be a day trip out again, Thursday is a kit building day, Friday is another day trip outing, followed by Saturday & Sunday doing more tiling in the kitchen, then back to work to earn more pennies.....LOL.

Catch you all later, & get that stock ordered ready for the next big upload to the website.

Hi Mike
Glad to see you're getting the days out booked, get the essential things organized work can wait. I'm having occasional problems with Adobe Reader (not on your stuff) I'm sure it's down to memory, they've added all the stuff to let you respond and sign on forms etc, Almost any other PDF reader seems to be ok!

Hi Troopers,

Well I'm just having a quick cuppa before starting some kitchen tiling.

I said I'd upload some photo's showing the latest kit build which I forgot to do, some here are just two pictures to tease you with.

Image
This is the new platorm base section for this kit (Still have the steps leading up to the entrance to complete.

Image
This is the new fascia for the Grand Station.

It still has all the trim to be fitted but starts to give the new fresh appearance I wanted. Once I do a bit more to the build later this week I'll post some more photo's which should be of the two towers.

Catch you all later,
Mike.

Hi Troopers,

Well I doing a full web site update this morning so there maybe some disruption to the site which I apologise for.

I'm doing a full upload as I've decided to remove the full Premium section from the site, Wordsworth is all about FREE kits so I'm going back to my grass roots which is why the web site is so popular in the first place, there are plenty of other sites out there offering purchased kits.

On another good note you'll find the Grand Station kit ready for download.

Just in case you find any issues after this full site upload, broken links etc, please let me know as I can only test so much.

Thank you,
Mike.

Just a courtesy note Mike, to thank you for the latest addition to your site, and appreciation of the hard work in designing these models.

Hi Troopers,

Well I hope everyone that has downloaded the Grand Station & the new platform shelter kits have enjoyed them, if so they are to be joined shortly with the new version 2 platforms & another new kit which I'm test building now the platform subway stairs kit.

Like I have been saying the new layout I have great plans to have this one big station, we've already seen the platform footbridge kit which I hope to use, but I also want at each end of these new long platforms some subway stairs so the Wordsworth passengers can get from platform to platform rather than just having to use the footbridge.

Therefore my one station can be recreated on any layout using several of these new kits. I've no photo's just yet as my digital camers has finally packed in & so needs replacing.

As soon as I get some photo's I'll get them uploaded, if all goes well that should be followed by the upload to the site.

Until then, lets build a better Britain with Wordsworth Kits.......LOL

Cheers Mike.

Hi Troopers,

Well I might say my test build of the new platform subway kit has gone well, it's not on the website yet but it sure will be when i get a little bit of time to do the site update.

So lets have a quick peek on this new beauty.

Image
Here we are at the starting point

Image
Now we have the side panels ready for glueing back to back.

Image
Now we are at the stage of putting into 3D format

Image
Note the grey card showing how it will slot into the platform base

Image
The nearly completed kit just requiring the roof covering

Image
Now it's complete just put it onto the platform section of your choice.

It's not a hard kit to put together and I do feel it gives that flavour of going somewhere.

Hope you like what you have seen.

Thank you,
Mike.

Hi Mike, you're not the only one to have problems with PDF files that won't print all pages, or display correctly. It seems almost any other PDF reader works ok, but the Adobe all singing all dancing version gets it wrong.

Howdy Bufferstop, I had this problem with adobe PDF many years agoand since changing to Foxit reader this problem has never recurred. I highly suggest you look in to changing to Foxit and when you do i am sure that this problem will be one in the past with all PDF files.
simply do a google for foxit and download the program you will find it has a smaller footprint then Adobe and uses less PC resources and best of all the full version is also free from thier website thus enabling ytou to read, write and create PDF documents.

Hope you find this use full
regards
