RC408 Apple green acrylic paint

Postby JLK2707 » Wed Oct 25, 2017 1:47 am

Is the humbrol RC408 Apple green acrylic paint appropriate for GNR Doncaster green or would Vallejo olive green be a better choice? The thing is that I live in Australia and I cannot get Phoenix precision enamel paints. :(

What shade of Apple green paint would I need to paint Great Northern in? The reason I ask is because I am wanting to paint a GNR Class A0 loco in GNR Apple green which was appropriate for 1922 and I need to get the precise shade for it. The reason I ask is because I am in Australia and cannot get Precision paints.

Yes RC408 will be the same as GNR Apple Gren - only problem is - it doesn't seem to get great reviews - sorry...
