Hexham Model Railway Show 12/5/2018

The 2nd annual Hexham Model Railway Show will feature inspirational layouts, trade support, kids corner and refreshments.

The event will be held at the Hexham Auction Mart, Tyne Green, Hexham on Saturday the 12th of May 2018. Ample free parking is available at the event with good disabled access.

Doors will open at 10am and close at 4pm. Tickets are £3 adults, £1 under 16s and under 5s are free.

Layouts attending this years event are:

Northeastfields: A large interesting OO gauge layout running a variety of stock based on a location in North East England.

Penna Lane: Back again is this very popular OO gauge layout with sound running BR blue era stock, based somewhere around Tyneside. Look out for the Metro!

Dunstan Harbour: Another OO gauge layout, the model is based on a 'what might have been' branch line on the North East coast of Northumberland in the 1930's.

West Cove: A OO gauge layout based somewhere in Wales running GWR goods.

Middle Peak: An EM gauge layout depicting Middle Peak Quarry in Derbyshire including a working loading hopper!

Schlosshalt: An N gauge layout showing an imaginary Swiss mountain in winter featuring computer controller day/night running of trains.

Grindleby on Swain: A small N gauge layout showcasing what can be achieved in a small space.

Thomas and Pals: Find Thomas and his pals on this OO gauge layout.
