I love the progress on the diorama. The bridge is great and now the water has started flowing under it. Outstanding as usual Daniel.

This fellow lives in Amsterdam and has biked from Vancouver Canada to the tip of South America. He bought a couple of ‘cabins’ in the Italian Alps. Check the structures! Amazing stone work and STONE roofs made from huge slabs.

The lucky Dutch fellow is doing what I would if had the resources in money, age and health!!!
Such stone buildings with also stone roofs are common around the borders between France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. The still pure beauty of lost organic architecture.

Where do I put what I build?

Well, for me the question is not 'where' but WHY would I keep them if what I like is to make, not to hold?

If I am lucky I get unexpectedly a message or a call from someone wanting to buy my work.
If I am not that lucky someone (me again) will be very lucky in a different way and enjoy chopping, throwing away what is useless and joyously recycling in new projects what can be recycled.

None of the bridges is glued in place yet. The little one has got it's deck and must still get a one side railing.
The big one must still get it's deck glued but fiurst I want to work out the bracing at the underside.

The reason for the Bamboo sticks is that I fporgot to make the short suporting pieces of wood curved, following the long beams so I glued them in place holding them tight with klamps. But also if the glue do it's work fine, I don't trust that in the middle of the wild dance of my workplace so now the Bamboo will take care of it.

Not dificult to disguise it, specially if one knows it will be at the underside in the shadow area of the bridge and no one will notice...

I alet the deck boards final colouring & sanding for once they are glued in place. That way the strokes of colour and very softly sanding will make the traces of horse, carts and cars evident... (...I hope!)

The braces are more or less in place but there is a lot of work before gluing the bridge in place. At first each brace must rest on a stone protruding from the pillar but also I want to add some details as bolts/sq. nuts and some iron plates bolted in some (not all) joins...

Those days there was no internet, no TV, radio was only for the 'healthy' and probably terribly boring so the the youth had no much to do and the little bridge was a good place to meet and have fun. That, of course, left traces on the poor little bridge...
