Peco flexible fencing

Postby George Stein » Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:45 pm

Writing from the USA. What glue do you use with the plug-in Peco flexible fencing. That strange plastic defies most glue. Help.

I asked Peco this same question, the answer is that they are supposed to pop together, spigots into holes. Good luck with that. I binned mine!

Just about nothing actually sticks to the surface, it's the same plastic they use for glue dispensers, it's resistant to solvents too. Best bet is to drill holes for the bottom of the posts, fill them with Araldite, then push the posts in. I used some clear contact adhesive with one stretch, but a few weeks later it could still be pulled apart. Getting it entangled with vegetation gives the best chance of it staying in place.

I didn't drill any holes, I just used all purpose adhesive and held the fence in place with dressmakers pins until the glue dried.
