If I were to squeeze more than 4 on a page E2E, its just more wasted ink on those you don't need! I originally had 3, but increased it to four, but allowing for longer variants, I would be pushing it with more. :o

Nice to see someone using them and great that you can adapt it as well. :P
Just shout if you have any comments on sizes or text and will have a play

No messing around with PAINT. On page one of this thread are six different tarpaulins. Most are of what I want. :D

Hi, thanks for providing these tarps , most useful. VBA....sucking eggs time...have you tried recording resizing as a macro, VBA written for you. Add this to a button called size to and you are away. Saw your first post...grest idea, would love to have the unlocked file to see iff I could add macros.
Regards

Gary

Hi Gary

All the parameters are changed by changing text, then macros do the actual sizing. Thus the look is driven by data, hence I can record the data as a text file (with a macro) and save, then call up a file and import it and with macros change the look to that file type at will. The only problem is that I am no VB expert and the excel file crashes repeatedly, some quirk in the code I can't find. I might share with a programming guy at work and see if he can work out why it keeps crashing. :)

P.S. Welcome to the Forum! :D

You spurred me on to get some more printed this evening but not glossy ones this time using my own home printer but lo and behold it's broke.

Thanks for the reply and welcome. Interesting problem, no clues when you run the macro line by line?, any source code available online possibly? Just a thought. Good luck with the solution and I totally agree regarding locking down the code, always find the user with the least IT ability will find the way to crash the code :)

OK. I managed to get to a inkjet printer today to do a test print (although the ink was running out so there's some white lines on them) but I can confirm..
USE AN INKJET NOT A LASER PRINTER.

I have a limited time for hobbies and as the layout is on hold at the moment, I am spending it on developing idea's and research. Unfortunately, I have so many interests, the subject of my attention is easily diverted! I will return to the excel problem, recent attention was creating the Links page on my website, but at the moment my current software battle is with Arduino, when that has driven me nuts, I may well have new vigour to tackle excel again!
