Under assault from multiple progects

Postby fourtytwo » Tue Nov 01, 2016 5:35 pm

I dont know if other people have this problem but I have so many things on the go at once, many waiting for parts, so I get this result!

that's quite organised, but I don't like the look of the transformer on the front left. A bit dodgy that!!!!!

Yup! Looks like mine when I've tidied it up. Can't see the jar of paint brushes in white spirit or the mug of cold coffee.

It just proves you're quite normal when it comes to railway modelling.

Aww thank you so much for your kind comments :)
Actually the big Trafo is a 500W isolation transformer coupled to a 3Kva Variac you cannot see under the bench used together to test high voltage nasty things like the prototype SMPS back center. The variac is also handy for simmering 5 gallons of wine or beer ingredients, just a hell of a lump to lug around. I know the latter could be done solid state but its always been on the roundtewit list!
Paint pots brushes etc are in the railway room where they get most use, but the bench in this picture gets used for loco repairs, kit building and that sort of thing. Everything is still held up as we still don't have any post here! (Joys of countryside living) :)
