I do like 'Milly', I have this thing about small hard working locomotives
and with the Millsend weathering treatment it's going to look great !

Thanks Geoff;

It's now had it's final weathering, but the wheels need a dirty wash and then a coat
of satincote to give that oily look. Happy with the results. I might change the spelling of
it's name to 'Millie', I have an old Airfix unbuilt 0-4-0 saddle tank kit that might join this
one, room permitting and name it 'Nellie'.

Just need my supplies, hopefully tomorrow fingers crossed.

Locos like that were in use in collieries right into the mid 1980's in Wales as they had an abundant supply of fuel to use from the colliery, so it made more sense to carry on with steam then buy in diesel fuel for a diesel shunter.
