Which DCC decoder will fit in N-gauge 0-6-0 tank?

Needing a decoder for another loco, I decided to get the Digitrax DZ126IN (the successor to 125IN) to see if it would have fitted. In my opinion the answer is "maybe". It is noticeably shorter than the Lenz silver mini that I had, but since I've removed the socket from the 0-6-0 and hard-wired my Lenz, I can't say for sure that it would fit.

I got Wickes to install a decoder in my terrier so you could try them

I'm not sure which one they used

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but if anyone want to add a DDC decoder to the Dapol DCC ready 0-6-0 tank, Dapol now list the Telektonik DCX 75N decoder as being compatible for direct fitment to this model.

or at least thats what they fit to their DCC fitted version
