I never planned for any inclines on my layout trying to make life easy for myself so I look forward to what your planning.
Have you considered what will be in place for the above straight track? A simple bridge or perhaps evan a small station?
One thing I don't think previously mentioned so i'll be devil's advocate.....have you thought about N gauge?
You'd get a lot more on the board I reckon.

Thanks. N scale ? Too small for me ! :lol: And I have two left hands if you see what I mean. :oops: So H0, 00 and On30 scales are the best choice for me. And I have a lot of boxes full of this stuff.
