Hi, as I'm new to layout making I would just like to put this idea out there for comments. This is in Peco set track N gauge on 2 boards 1220mm x 800mm each. So the question is, if somebody gave you this finished what trains (preferable steam) do you think you could run on it. I realise this is not everybody's cup of tea, but I will start with a glass half full. Comments welcome please.
Thanks
Steve

Re: Uxbridge Vine Street
EDIT: When I started posting this, your attachments weren't showing. It now appears your track plan is something completely different to what Vine Street was, so please disregard.
So if you've gone for a fictitious setup, you can pretty much choose what you want to run.A good place to start would be this webste: http://www.disused-stations.org.uk/u/ux ... ne_street/
Looking at the photos on there, it appears to be a typical GWR suburban branch terminus, so my choices would be:
- Pannier tanks and Small Prairies (GWR and BR)
- Autocoaches
- GWR Railcars for... well, GWR. Early DMUs for BR.
- Short (4-wheel?) coaches for GWR, Mk1 suburbans for BR
- Short goods trains (vans, coal wagons, milk tanker maybe a conflat or two sometimes).
Re: Uxbridge Vine Street (not the real one)
Sorry my fault, was having problems putting images on. You are correct it is not the real Uxbridge Vine Street so I have changed the title, I live down the road from where it used to be so I just used the name.

Something I have learned today is don't posted anything at 6.30 on a Sunday morning before finishing your first coffee, you forget to put it all down
The reason I asked about the trains is because there are a lot of points in the plan and I'm not sure if there is a limit to what size engine can be used over them. The layout is split into 4 loops which will be run from 4 controllers using all 4 radius sizes. I would like to have Steam engines but as it is set track maybe that isn't possible.
