No, I got your point entirely, I agree with the principal.

But the point as demonstrated in your first diagram is that you travel 48" to drop the 4" at 1:12, but have to travel 96" to drop the 4" at 1:24. As the stations in the trackplan are fixed you would do one lap at 1:12 but would need to do two laps at 1:24.

Hi FJ, my channel is Galgorm Hall OO Layout. Not a lot to see on their at the mo but hopefully things will change when I get the new layout going.
