OO gauge shunting plank

Postby spiket4 » Mon May 30, 2016 9:47 pm

Hi all at the weekend I picked up a few bits namely an airfix 14xx and dapol autocoach for a good price.
This has given me an idea to build a small shunting layout with platform for a small train. I only have a space of 5ft x 1ft possibly 1.5ft and was thinking 2 or 3 sidings and a passing loop. And to set it in the WR.
Any suggestions would be great.

Regards Mark

My first suggestion, Mark, would be to have a look at this page and its related ones.

http://www.wymann.info/ShuntingPuzzles/Inglenook/inglenook-layouts.html

Lots of information and ideas, and at least two plans for adding a simple passenger service to the goods working.
