PM Alex the mod your top three votes. Keep them coming. Thanks all who have voted. :) It will be interesting to see the results when the result day comes along. We've no idea how the votes are going. Only Alex knows that. He knows how to keep us in suspense! :D
For those who have not yet voted, a list of all entries can be found further back in this thread. Alex has put those little link things up a few posts ago to take you to the bit on this thread that has the list of entries with their links. (See page 1 on this thread for the list).
Take a good look and PM Alex with your three favourite competition entries. Thanks. :)

Votes received so far added to the tally, first place is close so your vote really can make a difference :D

@Mountain, thank you for creating the post in the general section, i have added a link to this thread and made it a sticky so it should stay at the top of the forum.

If anyone is having trouble finding the list of members taking part: https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=52905#p649527 its at the start of this thread.

just to reiterate again, voting is open to all members of the forum, please do take part - PM me a list of your top 3, any issues let me know.

@Lancastrian, i have added your votes to the tally - i saw the PM but was holding off incase more votes came in before the cut off point, its easier to add votes in batches rather then one at a time.

Anyway the votes have all be tallied, its been a fantastic competition and i have really enjoyed following all of the project, a big well done for everyone taking part!

1st - (28 points) [*]Lysander LNWR 6-wheel coach kits Starting post Ending post
2nd - (25 points) [*]TimberSurf secret project Starting post- Ending post
3rd - (19 points) [*]PinkNosedPenguin O-16.5 Bachmann Porter Conversion - Starting post Ending post
4th (12 points) [*]Dad-1 Not a layout, but railway modelling - Starting post Ending post
5th (7 points) [*]Atso Thread - topic tbc
6th (4 points) [*]Mountain Wagon build Starting post - Ending post
6th (4 points) [*]glencairn All Change -- Well Not Quite!
7th (3 points) [*]roganty A Picture Frame Shunting Layout Starting Post - Ending post

In total we had 17 people voting.

Once again a huge well done to everyone who took part & to those who voted

Well, pipped at the post by a nose!
I will take solace that I beat last years winner! (an infinitely better result than lasts years "also ran")
Thanks for the votes peeps and thanks to Alex for organising and of course well done Lysander, but everyone's a winner, as we all got a place!
It's so hard to choose between the projects as they show off different skills!

So when does the next one start Alex?

I take it that not everybody made three choices in their voting? There were a total of 100 votes cast, and given that each person should have allocated 6 votes (3 for first, 2 for second, and 1 for third choice) that means that 16.66666666666666666666666666666666666667 people voted :D

I have double checked the numbers and your right, I had accidentally recorded someones top vote as 1st instead of 3 points  I have updated the tally taking Dad-1 from 10 points to 12 (position stays the same)

alex3410 wrote:4th (12 points) [*]Dad-1 Not a layout, but railway modelling - Starting post Ending post

To make sure its OK i have added up total number of possible points from 17 people voting (102) and made sure the tally of results matches this as well

apologies for the bad maths
