it Rained Today But I Managed To Take Some Pictures!
This is at StIshmaels. It poured down! I took shelter in the old building left from WW2 which used to house a big gun which was said to have a 21 mile range. It was designed to shoot any vessels passing on the seas horizon.

Haunting, lonely stretches under rain. Perfect for me! Cute chicks! Great photos all in all, thanks for posting.
Nessie rocks!

Lots of nice places. The seagull was near the railway and it was about to fly off.

And here is a view of the beach at Pendine where the land speed records have been set.

Looking down towards the area where the origional photographs were taken. The area the photos were taken is just round the corner from the bit of land with the white caravans are on below.

Haha. It was raining so hard when I took the second photo on the first part of the thread, that when the rain hit the ground it was bouncing back up. I only just made it to the old building when the rain came. When the 175 came through it had turned to normal rain but was still quite heavy.

First rain today after ten very dry and warm weeks. Hurrah!

Rebuilding my freewheel in the rain! Haha. Well. I had customized it in the past but the third gear was slipping due to a slight spacing issue. I am hoping the indexing will be ok when I re-assemble it (If not I have a little lever thing to change it to friction instead of indexed gears).
I have hardly been able to do mechanical work so this is a weight off my mind if it is a success, so hopefully all will be fine.
One step closer to getting back cycling again!
