The Listowel and Ballybunion Railway

Postby rogerfarnworth » Mon Dec 31, 2018 5:37 pm

Apologies if there is already a significant series of posts on the forum about this line. It has fascinated me for some time. I hope this post is of interest. Does anyone have further information? How easy would this be to model?

There have been a (small) number of articles in Railway Magazines over the years. There is also some film of the railway in the 1920s on You Tube.

I am almost certain seeing a model of the railway in a magazine, but that was a long time ago.

I too vaguely remember an article in a magazine, Railway Modeller sometime in the 1970s IIRC.

As a follow up ……………..

I have been sent a number of links to videos including one to a model built in O Gauge. The first link should take you to the model, the remaining links are primarily to videos taken at the site in Ireland. I have also been sent a link to another page about the railway, the link to that page can be found beneath the videos.
