Hi All,
Our local Council (Redcar and Cleveland) has an ambitious plan to regenerate Redcar Central Station and has asked Cleveland Model Railway Club for help.
Does anyone have any maps, plans, photos that may help or know where we might find some?
Regards
Howard.

Most major reference libraries will have an archive of OS Maps and plans. The large scale town centre plans from the first half of the Twentieth Century should show the railway in detail. Down to sidings, signal cabins, water towers etc. Sometimes the archive is held by a museum, but the library would know that. Our local plans are stored by the library of the Shakespeare Birthplace, a purely pragmatic decision "they have lots of old documents to store, have the specialist staff to look after them, a few more were easily accommodated.
Growing old, can't avoid it. Growing up, forget it!

The old=maps.co.uk site has large scale plans, https://www.old-maps.co.uk/#/Map/460186/524914/12/100954
This gives the track plan of the station and goods yard

For old maps and especially high detail OS maps I use
https://maps.nls.uk/os/25inch-england-and-wales/
these are zoomable then printable and for a fee you can download a zoomable jpeg version to look at on your laptop/desktop etc.
