Hi

Found this item on eBay, on the photo behind the standard 4 is a wagon/coach. Anyone any idea what type it is?

Hi m.Levin,

Looks like an ex GWR Siphon of some kind. I suspect that it is a Siphon G of the inside framed variety. This type was made by Lima in both 00 and N but the chassis on both were poor the bogies especially so but there are alternative parts made to improve it.

Yep - concur with Jim - think gwr.org site may have an article on upgrading them.

Once again with the Lima - the body was excellent though - despite the underframe misgivings outlined...
